Ouanoukrim (4,088m)

The second-highest massif in the High Atlas: twin summits, unmatched views

About this Route

Ouanoukrim sits directly west of the Toubkal Refuge. Its twin summits, Timzguida (4,088m) and Ras (4,083m), offer face-to-face views of Toubkal's imposing east face. A compelling alternative or addition to Toubkal, with scrambling on the connecting ridge and exceptional summit panoramas across the entire massif.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

5–7 hours. Classic approach through the Mizane Valley: Aroumd, Sidi Chamharouch (2,310m), steep zigzag to the refuge. Overnight to acclimatise.
