About this Route

Six days of guided trekking in the Atlas Mountains with an accommodating Berber team. Explore the beautiful valleys of the Berber villages and ascend Mount Toubkal, in a region known for its rich Berber culture and trekking trails. Gorgeous mountain views and the colourful scene of the rhododendron forests, with nights in guesthouses and the Neltner (Toubkal) refuge or camping.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

~1 hour drive + ~5 hours trekking. Early morning briefing, then drive to the start of the trek. Meet the muleteer team and load the mules, then walk uphill on a leisurely acclimatisation trek in the Ouirgane National Park. Overnight in a gîte at Tinzert, a small Berber village.
